Ranjan Wijeratne Statue, Keppetipola Mawatha

Deputy Defence Minister Ranjan Wijeratne was killed in a bomb blast engineered by the LTTE, on Havelock Road, Colombo, on March 2nd 1991; 18 others were also killed with him and 80 wounded. His statue marks the spot where he was killed.
